SIGMA ABSOLUTE FILTERS

SIGMA ABSOLUTE FILTERS

Introduction :
Sigma Filters introduce a range of Absolute Air Filters designed to meet critical filtration requirements, with an efficiency rating of 99.97% down to particle size of 0.3 microns.
Sigma Absolute Air Filters are specifically designed to suit the critical requirements of nuclear, chemical, bacteriological research units, pharmaceutical industries, hospital operation theatres computer installations, industrial clean Air Rooms, photographic processing laboratories, space research units and laminar flow cabinets.

Construction : The filter medium is constructed from water repellant, fire retardent all glass – micro fibre paper, pleated over corrugated board / plastic / aluminum separators. The filter I element is bonded to a filter frame of aluminum / cadmium plated mild steel / fire retardent plywood with special plastic based adhesive. A neoprene sponge rubber seal is fitted on either a I each face of the filter frame of aluminum / cadmium plated mild steel / fire retardent plywood with special plastic based adhesive. A neoprene sponge rubber seal is fitted on either / each face of the filter frame.

Operating Conditions: The filter unit is suitable for maximum operating temperatures of 120°c-600°c and conditions of humidity upon and including 100″ RH. The life of the filter can vary from six months to two years. Usage of Sigma pre- filters enhances the service life, of the Absolute filter.

Installation: Sigma Absolute Filter units can be mounted in multiple bank to cater to large volumes of air flow. The unit can be mounted on angle iron frames. Specially designed ducts can be supplied for attaching of the frame work of the filter units for figment with existing duct work. The filter units are ,made in standard sizes and are interchangeable.

Performance: The Sigma Absolute Filter unit is suitable for an operating efficiency of 99.97% down to particle size of 0.3 microns, with 0.3% penetration – on Sodium Flame Test procedure / D. O.P. test method – the most accurate and demanding of any filter test used today. It incorporates a Diocty Philalte Thermal Smoke generator and a forward light scatter Penetrometer. The test determines the filter efficiency by measuring the percent penetration of 0.3 micron smoke particles.

Wide Dynamic Range: Sigma Absolute Filters are available in a number of grade series to meet specific temperature and humidity requirements. Sigma HEPA filter with stand, temp, up to 600°c
