SIGMA VISCOUS PANEL TYPE AIR FILTERS

Introduction :The sigma filters research center has developed an efficient, economical and durable design for metallic mesh air filters
ideal for comfort and industrial air conducting and ventilation applications.
Applications: Designed specifically for comfort and industrial air conditioning in T. V. Studios, Office buildings. Hostels, Cinema Houses, Factories.
Constructions : The filter element is constructed from several layers of corrugated G. I. Alu, Ss., sys. Wiremesh, inter spaced with a flat layer of G.I. Ss. Alu-Wire mesh. The pleated formation of the filter media ensures maximum filtration of the filter media
ensures maximum filtration area in ratio to the face area, nominal differential pressure and high dust retention capacity. The filter element is encased in an Aluminium frame, fitted with Aluminium expanded metal on each side. The filter units are made in standard size and are interchangeable.
Performance : This unit has an efficiency, dust collection rating of 70%- 80%.The filter unit is required to be impregnated with light mineral oil at regular service periods – depending upon actual working conditions. The separating efficiency of the viscous filter unit depends upon entirely the regularity of this roiling process. This viscous crimped mesh impingement filter enjoys a major advantage over the packed ferrules type media which has a tendency to sink in the filter frame, thereby causing a gap for the passage of unfiltered air. The Filter units are tested as per BSEN – 779
Operation Conditions: The filter unit can be used under conditions of humidity up to and including 100% R. H. Installation: Filter units may be mounted in multiple banks to cater to large volumes of airflow. The units can be mounted on angle iron frames. Specially designed outlet ducts can be supplied for attaching to the frame work of the filter units for fitment with the existing duct. The filter units are made in standard sizes and are interchangeable.
